Egbeda/Ona-Ara 2027 Federal Rep: Oniladuntan, Other Monarchs Declare “It’s Ona-Ara’s Turn,” Back OTOPE

Traditional rulers in Ona-Ara Local Government Area have declared that the 2027 Federal House of Representatives seat for Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency must return to Ona-Ara.

The declaration was made earlier today, January 17, 2026, as HRH Oba Kamorudeen Adebowale JP, the Oniladuntan of Laduntan, led other revered monarchs across Ona-Ara to openly pledge their support for Dr. Temitope Oladimeji, fondly known as OTOPE.

According to the royal fathers, equity, fairness, and political balance demand that “It is Ona-Ara’s turn”, stressing that Dr. Oladimeji remains the most credible and prepared candidate to represent the constituency at the National Assembly.

They described OTOPE as a tested grassroots leader, seasoned philanthropist, and a unifying figure whose track record of service aligns with the aspirations of the people.

The royal fathers further noted that the Federal House of Representatives seat has been occupied by Egbeda axis for successive terms, emphasizing that fairness, equity, and political balance now demand a shift.

They unanimously stressed that 2027 is unequivocally Ona-Ara’s turn, calling on all stakeholders within the Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency to support the course for unity and inclusive representation.
