The Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government Area (LGA), Hon. Sanda Sikiru, chaired a crucial security meeting with security agencies and religious leaders across the council yesterday.

The meeting focused on addressing security challenges in the council area, with discussions on various issues and measures to ensure the safety of lives and properties.

In his address, Hon. Sikiru commended the security stakeholders for their ongoing collaboration and commitment to securing the community.

The representative of the security agencies praised the chairman’s dedication to the welfare and security of Egbeda residents.

Top council staff, including the Head of Local Government Administration (HLGA), Chief of Staff, and representatives from the market, religious, and security sectors attended the meeting. These included the Chief Imam of Egbeda, and representatives from the Army, Police Force, Civil Defence (NCDC), Immigration, and OYTMA.

The meeting marked a significant step towards ensuring the safety and security of Egbeda LGA residents.
