The Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, Hon Sanda Sikiru Oyedele has handed over refurbished security operational vehicle to Egbeda police command immediately after the monthly security meeting, to effectively check and combat crimes and criminality in Egbeda and its environs.

 

 

While handling over the refurbished security vehicle, the chairman said that the essence of the vehicle was to enable the operatives to continue in their efforts towards the fight against crime and criminality, also for the security of lives and property in the Council area.

 

 

“The refurbished police security vehicle will serve to support the police in their determined efforts to reduce crime to the bearest minimum, also to bolster security and safeguard lives and property across the Council area” said the chairman.

 

 

Receiving the vehicle, Egbeda Divisional Police Officer(DPO), Gbagi, CP. Aderanti Alao described the intervention of the vehicle as a relief to the police station, said the provision of the vehicle would make the mobility of his officers seamless.

He also expressed profound gratitude of the police force to the chairman for another generous donation of security vehicle, noting that, it is not the first time they were receiving such a donation from the chairman.

 

 

 

“We are receiving this vehicle at a time most needed and will surely play a significant role in enhancing our capability and boosting our anti-crime efforts. He said.

 

 

Present at the presentation of the vehicle are the vice chairman of Egbeda Local Government, Hon Ibrahim Oladebo Simple, leader of the legislative arm, Hon Olusola Olakanmi, secretary to the local government, Hon Aworele Temitope, Chief of staff, Alhaji Siyanbola Adisa, Head of LG Administration, Chief DR. Alaga Ayo Monsurat, AgHLGA, Ajorosun LCDA, Alhaji Ganiyu Babatunde, traditional council, Director of Administration, Mrs Adekunle Modupeola and other dignitaries.
