The Executive Chairman of Irepo Local Government, Hon. Tunde Taoheed Olayiwola, has extended warm Easter greetings to the Christian faithful in Irepo and beyond, urging them to pray fervently for peace, unity, and sustainable development in Irepo, Oyo State, and Nigeria at large.

Hon. Olayiwola described Easter as a sacred season of reflection, renewal, and hope, reminding the Christian community of the power of faith, sacrifice, and love exemplified in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. He called on Christians to imbibe the virtues of compassion, selflessness, and unity as they celebrate.
“Easter is not just a celebration; it is a time to reflect on the essence of our shared humanity and the need to rise above divisions for the common good. I urge you all to pray for our dear local government, our state, and our nation. May this season inspire greater peace, unity, and progress among us,” he said.

The Chairman appreciated the Christian faithful for their continued support, harmonious coexistence, and their invaluable contributions to the socio-economic and moral development of Irepo Local Government. He reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering commitment to inclusive leadership, interfaith collaboration, and community empowerment.

“As we celebrate the victory of life over death, may our communities be filled with renewed hope and divine blessings. I wish all Christians a peaceful, joyful, and spiritually uplifting Easter celebration,” Hon. Olayiwola added.
