As Christians across the world celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Chairman and CEO of Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort, and the Jagun Olubadan of Ibadanland, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, has urged Nigerians to embrace the true essence of Easter — sacrifice, unity, and love for one another.

In his Easter message, Chief Sanusi emphasized that the season represents a powerful symbol of hope and rebirth, calling on the people of Oyo State and Nigeria at large to reflect on the virtues of Christ’s selflessness.

“This season reminds us that beyond pain and trials, there is victory. It is a time to renew our hearts in service to humanity, in kindness to one another, and in faith that Nigeria can rise above its challenges,” he said.

The Ilaji boss, known for his philanthropic investments in youth development and community empowerment, further called for collective action in building a more peaceful and progressive society.

“Our nation is in need of healing — socially, economically, and spiritually. Just as Christ gave Himself for the redemption of mankind, we must all be willing to make sacrifices in our own capacity for the betterment of our communities and country,” Chief Sanusi added.

He also used the occasion to pray for continued peace in Nigeria, prosperity for its citizens, and wisdom for its leaders, reaffirming his unwavering commitment to human capital development, especially in Oyo State.

“Easter is a message of hope. May this season ignite a renewed spirit in us to love more, give more, and build more. I wish all Nigerians, particularly our Christian brothers and sisters, a joyful and fulfilling Easter celebration,” he concluded.
