The Oyo State Director-General Liaison Office for Abuja and Lagos, Hon Chief (Dr.) Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji popularly known as OTOPE has paid tribute to the late Chief Yekini Adeojo, describing his passing as a “colossal loss” to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.

In a condolence statement signed by his Media Team on Friday, Dr. OTOPE described Alhaji Adeojo death as a colossal loss to the PDP in Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.

“Chief Yekini Adeojo was a highly respected figure in Nigerian politics, serving as the first Deputy National Chairman of the PDP and one of the party’s founding fathers in Nigeria.

He was also a renowned spiritual leader, holding the title of Seriki Musulumi of Oyo State until his death. Chief Adeojo’s contributions to Nigeria’s political landscape are undeniable, and his legacy will continue to inspire future generations”.

Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has also mourned the passing of Chief Adeojo, acknowledging his immense contributions to the state’s politics and praying for God to grant his family the fortitude to bear the loss.

Chief Adeojo’s commitment to the PDP was unwavering, and he remained loyal to the party despite contesting for the number one seat in Oyo State multiple times without success.

Dr. OTOPE prayed that Almighty Allah forgive Chief Yekinni Adeojo’s shortcomings and admit him to Aljanat fridaous. May his soul rest in peace.
