As Nigeria celebrates its 64th Independence Day, Hon. Chief (Dr.) Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji, popularly known as OTOPE, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, has called on Nigerians to remain resilient and united in the face of challenges.

Dr. OTOPE, who is also a 2027 House of Representatives hopeful in Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency in Oyo State, emphasized that a new Nigeria is possible regardless of tribe, creed, or background.

“A new Nigeria is possible, and it starts with us,” Dr. OTOPE said in a statement. “Let’s unite and build a brighter future together, where every Nigerian has equal opportunities to thrive.”

Dr. OTOPE’s message resonates with the spirit of Nigeria’s independence, which represents hope, freedom, and self-determination.

Nigeria gained independence from British colonial rule on October 1, 1960, and has since made significant progress in various sectors.

However, the country still faces challenges such as economic struggles, ethnic tensions, and political instability.

Dr. OTOPE urged Nigerians to look beyond these challenges and work towards a united and prosperous nation.

“We must celebrate our diversity and promote inclusivity,” he said. “We must prioritize education, healthcare, and economic empowerment.”

As Nigerians celebrate this milestone, Dr. OTOPE’s call to action serves as a reminder of the country’s potential for growth, unity, and prosperity.
