The Executive Chairman of Ibadan South West Local Government, Honourable Kehinde Akande, has urged workers to renew their passion and commitment to their duties as they enter the New Year. Akande emphasised that dedication to work is crucial for the development of the local government area, saying it would drive progress and improve service delivery.
Speaking at a New Year Prayer Service, Akande prayed for sound health for a successful year ahead, calling on them to redouble their efforts in their various roles. “We must be dedicated to our work if we want to see real change and growth in our community,” Akande said. “Let’s resolve to be more productive, efficient, and committed to excellence in all we do.”

The local government chairman’s message was well-received by workers, who pledged to increase their productivity in the New Year. Akande’s call is part of efforts to boost performance and accountability within the local government. By focusing on dedication and commitment, the Ibadan South West Local Government aims to achieve significant development milestones in the coming year.

Other prominent figures present were HLGA Alhaja Olatoyosi Amudat, DAGs like Mrs Hamsat Titilayo, councillors, supervisory councillors, and special assistants to the chairman.
