In a move aimed at promoting youth engagement and supporting the creative industry, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr ‘Seyi Makinde, has approved the distribution of thousands of free tickets to young residents across the state for Davido’s upcoming ‘5ive’ Tour in Ibadan.
The initiative, facilitated through the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development underscores the Makinde administration’s commitment to youth empowerment, entertainment, and tourism development in the state.
According to the organizers, the free tickets will be available for collection at the following location:
📍 Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Secretariat, Ibadan.
Date: Saturday 8th, November 2025.
Distribution is expected to begin exactly at 9:00 am with officials encouraging interested youths to come early as tickets will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Requirements for Free Ticket collection are either Local Government Identification, Voter’s Card, or National Identification Number (NIN) to confirm an individual’s address if they truly reside in Oyo State.
The Ibadan leg of Davido’s ‘5ive’ Tour is one of the most anticipated entertainment events of the year, bringing together music lovers, creatives, and cultural enthusiasts from across the region.
Governor Makinde’s approval of the free ticket scheme aligns with his administration’s broader agenda to create opportunities for young people and position Oyo State as a hub for entertainment, innovation, and cultural excellence.
