Excitement is built across the city of Ibadan as preparations intensify ahead of the much-anticipated Davido’s 5ive Tour. In a show of support for the global music sensation’s forthcoming event, Otunba Seye Famojuro “The King of Boys,” on Tuesday warmly received the tour’s manager, Anthony, during a courtesy visit on Tuesday.
The meeting, which took place at Ikolaba residences, in the company of the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development Chairman, Hon. Adebowale Adebayo Falana, the 5ive tour committee led by the Chairman Tony Awobode popularly known as Don Tee underscored the strong collaboration between key stakeholders in ensuring that the Oyo State leg of the 5ive Tour becomes a resounding success.
In his remarks, Otunba Seye Famojuro, the King of Boys known for his passion for youth empowerment and entertainment development, assured the tour team of Ibadan’s readiness to host one of the most memorable stops on Davido’s nationwide tour.
He described Davido as a “symbol of African excellence,” applauding his consistency and global influence in showcasing Nigerian talent to the world.
“Ibadan is ready to roll out the drums for Davido and the entire 5ive Tour team. The people are excited, and we’ll give the tour the kind of royal reception that only Ibadan can offer,” Otunba Seye declared.
Tour Manager Anthony expressed appreciation for the warm hospitality, noting that Ibadan holds a special place in the Nigerian entertainment landscape.
He assured that the 5ive Tour would deliver world-class performances, spotlighting local talents alongside Davido’s electrifying stage presence.
