The Organizing Committee for the highly anticipated Davido 5ive Concert in Ibadan, led by its Chairman, Tony Awobode, popularly known as Don TEE, paid a courtesy visit to Otunba Seye Famojuro earlier today regarding the upcoming music event.
During the visit, Don TEE used the opportunity to profusely commend the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for his significant efforts and unwavering support towards the concert.
The Chairman specifically lauded the Governor for his strategic decision to ensure the involvement of local industries in the execution of the Davido 5ive Concert in Ibadan.
“We are deeply appreciative of Governor Makinde’s commitment to making this concert a massive success and, crucially, for ensuring that our local industries and businesses are integral to the planning and execution,” Don TEE stated.
“This approach not only guarantees a world-class event but also provides a major economic boost for the people of Oyo State.”
Welcoming the committee, Otunba Seye Famojuro expressed his delight at the progress being made towards the concert.
He acknowledged the importance of such an event for youth engagement and economic stimulation in the state.
Otunba Seye promised to provide the necessary governmental support and liaison to ensure a seamless and secure concert experience.
The visit concluded with both parties expressing optimism for the success of the Davido 5ive Concert, which is a key part of the artist’s nationwide tour.
