The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, has extended warm greetings to the Muslim faithful in the local government as they commence the holy month of Ramadan.

In a statement made available through his head of media, Aderibigbe Yisahu, Olufade described Ramadan as a sacred period of reflection, sacrifice, and spiritual renewal, urging residents to use the season to strengthen their faith and seek Allah’s blessings.

“As we begin this holy month, let us embrace the virtues of patience, kindness, and generosity.

Ramadan is not just about fasting but also about purifying our hearts, seeking forgiveness, and growing closer to Allah,” he said.

The chairman prayed for peace, prosperity, and divine guidance for the people of Ibadan North and called for unity and compassion, especially in supporting those in need.

“Let us seize this opportunity to foster harmony and love in our communities.

May Allah accept our prayers and good deeds and grant us the strength to complete the fast successfully,” he added.

Hon. Olufade also reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to promoting the welfare of residents, urging them to take advantage of the spiritual benefits of Ramadan to build a more peaceful and progressive society.
