A member of the House of Representatives representing Ibadan South-East/North-East Federal Constituency, Rep. Abass Adigun Agboworin, has congratulated the Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, on the successful completion of his tenure as Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria.
In a congratulatory message signed by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mayowa Okekale, which was made available to journalists on Wednesday, Agboworin described Ogundoyin’s tenure as impactful, purposeful and marked by uncommon commitment to legislative excellence across the country.
He noted that the Oyo Speaker brought dignity, intellectual depth and youthful energy to the national legislative body, earning respect from his peers nationwide.
The federal lawmaker commended Ogundoyin for using his time as Chairman to strengthen cooperation among state legislatures, promote best practices in lawmaking, and advance conversations around constitutionalism, separation of powers and good governance.
According to Agboworin, Ogundoyin’s leadership elevated the profile of Oyo State on the national stage and reinforced the state’s reputation as a hub of progressive politics and democratic ideals.
