Distinguished Guests, Ladies and Gentlemen,

First and foremost, I would like to sincerely thank all the participants, moderators, and presenters who have joined us from various professional backgrounds and diverse parts of Oyo State to attend this unique and impactful youth summit. This important gathering was organized through the vision and commitment of Honourable Hammed Ademola Babalola of Ido Local Government, Ibadan.

I must commend Honourable Babalola for his passion, commitment, and exemplary leadership in coordinating this timely youth summit. In a period where youth-related challenges demand urgent attention, his effort to bring this platform to life is both commendable and inspiring.

I also take this opportunity to express my heartfelt appreciation and admiration for His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde. His unwavering commitment to youth inclusion in governance, his visionary leadership, and his tireless efforts to address the socio-economic challenges of our dear state are truly worthy of recognition.

Let me also acknowledge and appreciate the presence of Hon. Sheriff Adeojo, the Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, and members of his cabinet for their continued support and leadership.

Gentlemen and ladies, remember—your voices, your actions, and your ideas matter. Let us make this summit a testament to the power of youth to transform our communities, our state, and indeed, our nation.

Let me emphasize that youth are not just the leaders of tomorrow—they are the leaders of today. We must work together, learn from each other, and build a strong network of support that will outlive this summit. Let this gathering serve as a platform for sharing ideas, forging meaningful connections, and empowering one another toward creating positive change.

Importantly, I encourage our youths not to be discouraged by the current political structure, but rather to forge ahead with a positive mental attitude, resilience, and a determination to succeed.
