A coalition of emerging leaders, comprising professionals across diverse sectors, has paid homage to the Olubadan-elect, Oba Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja.

During the visit, the group commended the monarch for his exemplary leadership qualities and expressed optimism that his reign will open new doors of growth, collaboration, and prosperity for Ibadanland.

They also acknowledged the thriving economy nurtured under the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde, noting that it has positively impacted their businesses and professional engagements. The coalition emphasized that with Oba Ladoja’s ascension, Ibadanland would not only enjoy outstanding traditional representation but also deeper collaboration with professionals across various sectors.

In his remarks, the Olubadan-elect, Oba Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja, praised the group for their commitment to excellence and for upholding the heritage of the forefathers. He extended a warm invitation to the coalition to participate in the forthcoming coronation ceremony, which will feature rich cultural displays and other significant events.

The monarch charged the youths to embrace integrity, unity, professionalism, and genuine friendship, stressing that these values are the pillars upon which Nigeria’s greatness can be built. He expressed delight at the coalition’s national spread, with representatives from all 36 states, describing it as proof that Nigeria has a bright future.

Oba Ladoja further reiterated his belief in one Nigeria, affirming that the voices calling for unity are stronger than those seeking division. He encouraged the coalition to actively contribute to the progress of Ibadanland and Oyo State while assuring them of his support where needed. He also emphasized the need for greater investments in the state, stressing that Ibadan is a home for all Nigerians and a viable destination for investors across the country.

Speaking on behalf of the coalition, Deji Ola, who led the delegation, explained that the body comprises public officials, accomplished professionals, and key stakeholders dedicated to the progress of Ibadanland and Oyo State. He affirmed the coalition’s readiness to play an active role in the coronation process and to contribute meaningfully to the sustainable development of the land. Ola also revealed that members of the coalition’s diaspora chapter are eager to invest in Ibadan, encouraged by the enabling environment for business and innovation already created in the state.
