In a heartfelt tribute to tradition and stability, Oloye Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke, the Aare Egbe Omo Balogun of Ibadanland and Chairman of Solutions 93.9 FM Ibadan, has lauded the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty Oba Owolabi Olakulehin (Ige Olakulehin I) for upholding a peaceful and seamless chieftaincy succession system.

Oloye Adegoke praised the Olubadan-led Olubadan-in-Council for preserving the unique and time-honored chieftaincy hierarchy that continues to ensure harmony, unity, and order in the ancient city.

He also congratulated several notable Ibadan sons recently elevated to new chieftaincy titles, describing their recognition as a well-deserved honour reflecting their individual contributions to the city and beyond.

Among those he congratulated is Chief (Engr.) Dotun Sanusi, Chairman of Ilaji Farms, Hotels and Sports Resort, who was elevated from Jagun Olubadan of Ibadanland to Ajia Olubadan of Ibadanland. Oloye Adegoke described Sanusi as a visionary entrepreneur whose investments have boosted the socio-economic landscape of Oyo State.

He further commended Chief (Barr.) Muyiwa Makinde, elder brother to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, for his elevation from Bada Olubadan of Ibadanland to Aare Onibon Olubadan of Ibadanland. A seasoned legal practitioner, Chief Makinde was applauded for his unwavering dedication to justice and community development.

Oloye Adegoke, PDP gubernatorial aspirant extended his felicitations to all other elevated chiefs, emphasizing that their recognition is a call to even greater service to Ibadanland.

“This peaceful elevation process is a testimony to the wisdom of our traditional system. It sets Ibadan apart as a model of cultural governance and leadership,” he concluded.
