The Director General, Oyo State Liaison Office for Abuja & Lagos and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, Hon. Dr. Temitope Oladimeji popularly known as OTOPE, has congratulated Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle, fondly called Don, on his victory at the just-concluded Ibadan North Federal Constituency bye-election.

In a goodwill message released on Sunday, Dr. Oladimeji described Don’s emergence under the platform of the PDP as a resounding victory for the party and a testimony to the confidence the people of Ibadan North have in the PDP’s progressive leadership.
He further expressed appreciation to Governor Seyi Makinde for his exemplary leadership role, noting that the governor’s steadfast commitment, guidance, and grassroots connection played a crucial part in ensuring the party’s success at the polls.

“I heartily congratulate Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle ‘Don’ on this well-deserved victory. The people of Ibadan North have spoken with their votes, reaffirming their trust in the PDP. I also deeply appreciate His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, for his tireless efforts and leadership, which continue to strengthen our party and inspire confidence among the electorate,” Oladimeji said.

He urged the newly elected lawmaker to justify the confidence reposed in him by delivering quality representation, prioritising youth empowerment, and advancing developmental projects that will improve the lives of his constituents.
OTOPE also commended PDP faithful across the constituency for their loyalty and dedication, charging them to remain united and committed to the growth of the party in Oyo State.
He added that Don’s victory serves as a source of encouragement to PDP members across the state, particularly in Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, where he noted that the party remains strong, united, and ready to replicate similar successes in future elections.
