Almost seven years ago, Engr. Seyi Makinde stood in the heart of Ibadan, Oyo State’s vibrant capital, and took the oath of office. With his right hand on a Holy Bible, he solemnly vowed to uphold his duties, protect the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and serve the people of Oyo State with unwavering integrity.

In his inaugural address, Governor Makinde, the CEO of Makon , articulated his resolute vision: ‘Our people deserve opportunities to pursue their dreams of happiness and prosperity in an environment of security, peace, justice, and understanding.’ His words reflected a commitment to creating a better Oyo State, where citizens can thrive and reach their full potential.”
