*BADA Takes Off: Bimbo Adekanmbi Diaspora Alliance Unites Oyo Indigenes Worldwide for Continuity and a Better Future*

The Bimbo Adekanmbi Diaspora Alliance (BADA) has been established as a platform bringing together sons and daughters of Oyo State in the diaspora who share a common desire for good governance, purposeful leadership, progress and development. BADA is positioned as the only support group in the diaspora dedicated to supporting the political vision of Bimbo Adekanmbi, while providing a platform through which Oyo indigenes abroad can connect, engage and contribute meaningfully to the development of their home state and Nigeria.

The Alliance is being coordinated by pioneer members Alh Gboyega ADEROLU ( ROLU 1 ) Mogaji (Hon.) Olaide S. Olalere (Èrè), Mogaji Yusuf Adeleke and Princess Dolapo, whose commitment represents the foundation upon which BADA intends to build a broad and united diaspora community. The Alliance welcomes Oyo State indigenes and other individuals who identify with its ideals and are willing to contribute their time, ideas, networks and resources towards building a stronger community and supporting the Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) across Oyo State and Nigeria.

The Mission of BADA

BADA is committed to uniting Oyo indigenes in the diaspora under a common vision of credible, people-centred and transformational leadership; mobilising moral, intellectual, financial and strategic support for Bimbo Adekanmbi; promoting the vision and values of APM; building a strong bridge between the diaspora and grassroots communities; engaging and empowering youths, women, professionals, artisans, religious bodies and other stakeholders; promoting civic responsibility and peaceful democratic participation; establishing effective support networks across communities; supporting people-oriented initiatives and empowerment programmes; and upholding transparency, accountability and integrity in all its engagements.

Beyond diaspora mobilisation, BADA will support the Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) throughout Oyo State and across Nigeria by promoting unity, constructive engagement, community participation and the ideals of people-centred governance. The Alliance believes that the strength of a political movement lies not only in its leadership but also in the people and communities that believe in its vision, and BADA seeks to build that connection between Oyo people at home and abroad.
