The Allied People’s Movement (APM) candidate for the Oyo State House of Assembly, Ido State Constituency, Hon. Rafiu Omotoso, popularly known as Omor, has commended Governor Seyi Makinde for the ongoing rehabilitation of the Oganla, Wire and Cable, Ita Faaji, and Baptist roads in Ido Local Government Area.
Hon. Omotoso described the road rehabilitation as a major infrastructural achievement that will improve transportation, stimulate economic activities, and enhance the standard of living for residents of more than 20 communities that depend on the road network.
According to him, the project reflects Governor Makinde’s commitment to delivering quality infrastructure and fulfilling his administration’s promise of good governance to the people of Oyo State.
The APM candidate also congratulated Chief Adebayo Rasak Babalola, the Baale of Oganla, and the entire Oganla community on the transformation taking place through the rehabilitation project.

He noted that the improved roads would ease the movement of people and goods, boost commercial activities, and provide better access to schools, healthcare facilities, markets, and other essential services.
Hon. Omotoso, who is also the Otun Asiwaju of Oganla, urged residents of the benefiting communities to safeguard the infrastructure and ensure its proper use so that it can continue to serve both present and future generations.
Speaking on behalf of the benefiting communities, residents expressed gratitude to Governor Seyi Makinde for what they described as a long-awaited intervention. They said the rehabilitation would positively impact their daily lives and pledged their support for all Allied People’s Movement (APM) candidates in the 2027 general elections.
