The Ibadan-born UN ambassador, Mogaji Abdulsabur Abiola Olawore has launched a charitable foundation to
cater for the widows and less privileged in society.

Mogaji Ambassador Olawore and his friends flagged off the foundation on Saturday, at his Odefunke’s family compound, Beere, Ibadan, Oyo state capital.

With this foundation, Mogaji Olawore is extending his lifelong commitment to empowering others, driven by a deep belief in the transformative power of a better life.

Reeling out various programs to be embarked on by the foundation, Olawore explained that the initiative was his way of giving back to society, noting that he intends to reach out to less privileged and widows across Oyo state.

” We are here today to launch the “Abiola Olawore Foundation”, a charitable organization that is set up to cater for the less privileged, including widows in our society.

“We understand that caring for others is a privilege and a responsibility, and we embrace this role with compassion and dedication. The Initiative is not just for the people of Ibadan alone; we will be reaching out to people across the 33 local government areas of the state.

” The government alone cannot provide affordable education, healthcare others
for the teeming population in our society. We hope to make our contribution in assisting the indigents, who otherwise may not have the required help.

” Olawore Foundation is set up for the said category of people to benefit, irrespective of religion, tribe or political affiliation.

” Our vision for the future is one of a society where care is abundant
and support is freely given and readily available to all. Together, we strive to create a network of care and support that extends a helping hand to those who may feel alone or forgotten,” he said.

Olawore, the Mogaji Ile Odefunke, while addressing attendees, assured that the Olawore Foundation will roll out its first set of empowerment in the next few weeks.

In his vote of thanks, Mogaji Olawore
expressed deep gratitude to all and prayed to God Almighty for the realization of the sustainable goals of the Olawore Foundation.
