Alhaji Hasan Bello Greets Muslims on Hijrah 1448 AH, Prays for Peace in Ibadan South West

…Chairmanship aspirant urges unity and community development as new Islamic year begins

Ibadan South West Local Government Chairmanship Aspirant, Alhaji Hasan Bello, has congratulated Muslim faithful across the council area and Nigeria at large on the commencement of Hijrah 1448 AH.

In a statement released Tuesday, Bello described Hijrah as more than a date change on the Islamic calendar. He said it represents migration from evil to good, from disunity to cooperation, and from stagnation to purposeful progress.

“Hijrah teaches us the values of sacrifice, perseverance, and unity for a greater purpose,” Bello stated. “As we step into 1448 AH, I pray that Allah grants every Muslim in Ibadan South West sound health, peace of mind, and barakah in all our endeavors.”

Hassano urged residents of Ibadan South West to use the new Islamic year to strengthen bonds of brotherhood and work together for the growth of the local government.

“Development can only thrive where there is peace. Our markets, schools, health centers, and streets will flourish when we choose dialogue over division and service over self,” he said.
