In a significant demonstration of commitment and collaboration, the newly elected officers of the Akinyele Youth Forum, led by Comrade Sijuwola Hammed Adekunle, recently paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Hon. Akinwole Akinleye yesterday at the Local Government Council Secretariat, Moniya Ibadan.

 

 

 

The visit served as an opportunity for the youth leaders to commend Hon Akinwole Akinleye for his outstanding leadership style. The visit highlighted the importance of youth engagement in governance and the vital role that local government plays in fostering the development of young leaders.

 

During the visit, Hon Akinwole Akinleye expressed his unwavering support for Akinyele Youth Forum, re-emphasizing his commitment to ensuring a youth-inclusive government like his principal, The Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde.

 

 

 

He acknowledged the potential of the youth in driving positive change within the community and assured the newly elected executives of his continued cooperation and assistance.

Hon Akinwole Akinleye’s dedication to uplifting the youth was met with enthusiasm, as the forum Executives and members recognized the significance of having a supportive local government Chairman.

 

The courtesy visit also served as a platform for Hon Akinleye to commend the outgoing president, Comrade Paul Olagoke, for his exemplary leadership and contributions to the forum. He encouraged the new executives to build on the foundation laid by their predecessor, urging them to continue the work that has already begun.

 

 

 

This call to action resonated with the new leadership, who expressed their eagerness to further the goals of the forum and strengthen their relationship with the local government.

 

The delegation from the Akinyele Youth Forum included key figures such as Com Olatunde Esther (Vice President), Com Ogundipe Oluwaseyi MULTI(General Secretary), Com Ajao Wasiu (Treasurer), Com Adeniji Ademola Kogbagidi (Sports Director), Com Ojewumi Ronke (Welfare Secretary),Com Olaniyi Olawale PECULIAR (Chief Whip), Com. Adepoju Kolawole ATIKU( PRO 2), Com Abiodun Kolade ABCOLE and com. Adewale Bukola.

 

 

 

Each member brought their unique perspective and passion for youth development, ready to tackle the challenges ahead. Their collective vision emphasizes unity and progress, which is essential for fostering a vibrant community.

 

As Akinyele Youth Forum embarks on this new chapter under the leadership of Comrade Sijuwola Hammed Adekunle, they are poised to make significant strides in promoting youth participation in local governance.

 

 

 

With the assurance of support from Hon Akinwole Akinleye and his team, the forum is prepared to continue advocating for the needs and aspirations of the youth in Akinyele. The future looks promising as they work together to create a robust platform for youth empowerment and community development.
