Akeem Ige Congratulates Arole, Falade, Quadri, Other Governor Makinde’s New Appointees, Charges Them on Dedication and Loyalty

A chieftain of the Allied People’s Movement (APM) and Chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Staff Pension Board, Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige, has extended his warmest congratulations to the newly appointed government officials approved by His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde.

The appointments, announced in an official release by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Dr. Sulaiman Olanrewaju, span critical sectors of governance aimed at driving the development agenda of Oyo State.

Among those appointed are Hon. Gbenga Adewusi Arole former Chairman of the Oyo State Sports Council, who now serves as Executive Assistant, Sports Commission; Mr. Ogundele Quadri, appointed Special Assistant on Urban Development; and Pastor Akin Alamu, past Chairman of the Oyo State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) and former member of the Advisory Council, who joins the Oyo State Elders’ Council.

The list of appointees also includes:

Mr. Elijah Kolawole Akanmu: Special Adviser on Housing and Board Member, Oyo State Housing Corporation

Mr. Sakariya Mohammed Taofik: Special Adviser on Rural Development

Mr. Yinka Oladoyinbo: Executive Assistant on Information and Orientation,

Ms. Ronke Giwa‑Onafuwa: Senior Special Assistant on Information and Orientation

Mr. Dapo Falade: Senior Special Assistant on Information and Orientation,

Hon. Seun Adelore: Senior Special Assistant on Chieftaincy Matters,

Elder Olawale Olugbenga, JP: Special Assistant on Culture and Tourism and

Mr. Ibrahim Abayomi: Executive Assistant, Works.

In his congratulatory statement, Hon. Ige described the appointments as well-deserved recognitions of the individual capacities, track records, and readiness of the appointees to contribute meaningfully to public service.

He charged all the newly appointed officials to approach their responsibilities with unwavering dedication, deep commitment, and unalloyed loyalty to Governor Seyi Makinde and the government of Oyo State.

Hon. Ige noted that public office is a trust requiring selfless service to the people of the state, urging the team to align seamlessly with the governor’s vision for sustainable development and good governance across all sectors. He wished them a fruitful and impactful tenure in their respective roles.
