Agboworin’s Success In Politics Based On People’s Love, Trust – Group Berates Sponsored Article

The Ibadan Youth Vanguard, (IYV), has described an article written against the member of House of Representatives representing Ibadan North East/South East, Hon. Abass Adigun, popularly known as Agbowonrin, as cringe worthy and absolutely disgusting.

In a statement issued in Ibadan and signed by its General Secretary, Akin Akingbade, the Group noted that the success of Agboworin in politics is based on the trust and love his people have for him.

He added that the sponsored article written indicated that a mind can become so polluted by hate that it would spend time ranting about nothingness, rubbing such mind of common sense.

The statement read, “The article written by an obviously envious failed politician is cringe worthy in its repugnance and gaping emptiness steeped in the dung of roaming cattle.

“It is absolutely disgusting that a mind can become so polluted by hate that it would spend time ranting about nothingness.

“A glance through that article shows tons of grammatical contradictions and expose the mind of a leach eaten by its own envy. In the highly libelous article, the writer goes on a winding haze of self hate and intoxicated incoherence.

“He accused the honourable gentleman, Hon. Abass Adigun of coming from no where to snatch political power. If it was that simple, why did the writer not come from his hobbit hole oblivion to become what Agboworin is today?

“The depths of envy and sheer hatred can actually rob the mind of common sense. If we may remind the nitwit who wrote that article, Hon. Abass Adigun, aka Agboworin, climbed through the ladder of success step by step and that writer, if he wasn’t so bedevilled by putrid worms eating up his grey matter, would realise that when politicians go to the polls, the people vote for them.

“Agboworin’s success so far is due to the trust of the people and would the people trust and support him if he was arrogant, standoffish, and as unimportant as the nincompoop who wrote that dog-puke painted him?

“It is rather amusing that the writer compares Adigun with heavy weight fighters, quite laughable that a politician in Nigeria is x-rayed in a comparative analysis with American celebrities. This writer must be suffering from some sort of mental disability.

“Agboworin is neither a celebrity nor a pugilist. He is a politician determined to serve his people, make their lives better and sacrifice time and resources for his people. He did not begin from oblivion, but was a part of his people and still is as his roots can be traced back to his people.

“Is there one person in this life who did not start his career from somewhere? It is not Agboworin ‘s fault that the writer has not gone far in his life. Everyone has different destinies, therefore this writer should pray that God takes him from drinking kparaga at the motor park and writing absolute filth, to a higher pedestal where his soul can be purged of envy and hate.

“Having said that, we the IYV, will never sit back and watch any attempt at dimming the illumination of any of our shinning lights. We will always come for such a person.

“Nevertheless, we advice the Hon. Representative, Abass Adigun Agboworin, to take legal actions against the author of that highly libelous article, and his cohorts, in other to teach them a lesson. Bingo cannot jump on the Tiger’s bed and expect no repercussion.

“To say the least, that article was sponsored to criminally malign, bring to disrepute and public opprobrium, and destroy a man’s character over the years.”
