The lawmaker representing Ibadan North East/South East has congratulated His Imperial Majesty, Oba Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja Arusa 1, on his official coronation as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland today.
A statement made available to the newsmen by His Media Group described the ascension of Oba Ladoja to the throne of his forebears.
It added that today is a moment of pride not just for Ibadan indigenes, but also for the generality of the sons and daughters of Yoruba worldwide.
The lawmaker, who is the Chairman of House Committee on Narcotic Drugs, noted that the former governor’s elevation to the revered throne reflects divine favor and a lifetime of selfless service to the people.
“I want to congratulate our father, Oba Ladoja, on his official coronation as the 44th Olubadan. I see this beyond a traditional rite. It is the crowning of wisdom, resilience, and unshakable commitment to the progress of Ibadanland.
“Baba is a royal father who embodies integrity, vision, and the courage to lead with compassion.
“His long-standing dedication to public service and good governance portray him as a leader whose reign will bridge generations and foster inclusive development in Ibadan.
“I am happy that under Oba Ladoja’s leadership, the voices and aspirations of young people will continue to find expression.
“His reign will no doubt embrace our culture, pursue education, and contribute meaningfully to society,” Agboworin stated.
