The lawmaker representing Ibadan North East/Ibadan South East Federal Constituency, Rep. Abass Adigun Agboworin, has congratulated renowned businessman and philanthropist, Chief Dotun Sanusi, on his elevation to the prestigious chieftaincy title of Gbonka Olubadan of Ibadanland.
In a congratulatory message signed by his Media Group in Ibadan, Agboworin described the elevation as a well-deserved recognition of Chief Sanusi’s unwavering commitment to the growth and development of Ibadanland
He noted that the new title reflects the confidence reposed in Chief Sanusi by the Olubadan traditional institution and the people of Ibadan.
The federal lawmaker commended Chief Sanusi for his consistent support for initiatives that promote education, youth empowerment, economic development and the preservation of Yoruba cultural values.
Agboworin prayed for God’s continued guidance, good health and wisdom for the new Gbonka Olubadan as he joins other distinguished members of the Olubadan chieftaincy line in advancing the rich cultural heritage and sustainable development of the ancient city.
