The Coordinator of ÀGBÁJỌWÓ MOVEMENT in Ibadan South East Local Government, Adedoja Afees Adekunle Ekolo, has extended warm congratulations to all candidates of the Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) who emerged as the party’s flag bearers for various elective positions ahead of the 2027 General Elections.
In a statement issued on behalf of the entire ÀGBÁJỌWÓ MOVEMENT (Ibadan South East Chapter), Ekolo described the emergence of the party’s candidates as a testament to the confidence reposed in them by party members and stakeholders, expressing optimism that they possess the capacity, competence, and commitment to deliver quality leadership and good governance.
He particularly congratulated Engr. Seyi Makinde on his emergence as the APM Presidential Candidate, describing it as a significant milestone not only for the party but also for Nigerians seeking visionary and people oriented leadership at the national level.
Ekolo also congratulated Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi, the APM Governorship Candidate for Oyo State, Hon. Dhikrullahi Stanley Olajide (Odidiomo), Senatorial Candidate for Oyo South Senatorial District, Hon. Abass Adekunle Adigun (Agboworin), House of Representatives Candidate for Ibadan North East/Ibadan South East Federal Constituency; Hon. Modiu Alabamusa, House of Assembly Candidate for Oyo State Constituency 1, and Hon. Wasiu Yinka Omikunle, House of Assembly Candidate for Oyo State Constituency II.
According to him, the emergence of these candidates reflects the growing strength and popularity of the Allied Peoples’ Movement across Oyo State and Nigeria, expressing confidence that the party is well-positioned to make a remarkable impact in the 2027 elections.
The ÀGBÁJỌWÓ MOVEMENT Coordinator also appreciated and saluted the leadership of the party at all levels, acknowledging their sacrifices, dedication, and commitment towards building a formidable political platform capable of meeting the aspirations of the people.
Furthermore, Ekolo used the opportunity to express concern over the unfortunate abduction of a teacher and schoolchildren, offering prayers for their safety and speedy return. He called on security agencies to intensify efforts towards securing their immediate rescue and ensuring the protection of lives and property across the country.

“As we celebrate the emergence of our candidates, we remain mindful of the security challenges facing our nation. We pray for the safe return of the abducted teacher and schoolchildren and urge all relevant authorities to leave no stone unturned in securing their freedom,” he stated.
He concluded by reaffirming the commitment of ÀGBÁJỌWÓ MOVEMENT to supporting the ideals of good governance, grassroots development, unity, and progressive leadership, while mobilizing support for all APM candidates ahead of the 2027 General Elections.
