As the matriarch of the illustrious Adedibu political dynasty, Alhaja Abosede Modinat Adedibu celebrates her birthday today, tributes have poured in from political leaders and well-wishers across the country.
Among those honoring her is Adebimpe Sarafa, a respected community leader and House of Assembly aspirant for Ibadan South West Local Government Constituency 2, who lauded her as “an exceptional mother, a pillar of strength, and a trailblazer in Nigerian politics.”
In a heartfelt felicitation message, Sarafa described the PDP South-West Women Leader, Alhaja Adedibu, as a woman of grace, deep wisdom, and unwavering commitment to the progress of Ibadanland, Oyo State, and Nigeria as a whole.
“Today, we celebrate not just the birthday of a great woman, but the life of an exceptional mother, a political icon, and a defender of democratic values,” Sarafa stated.
“Alhaja Bose Adedibu has stood tall through decades of Nigeria’s political evolution, upholding the legacy of her beloved husband, the legendary Alhaji Ariyibi Akanji Adedibu, while also charting her own impactful course—particularly through her tireless advocacy for women as the PDP South-West Women Leader.”
Sarafa further praised her immense contributions to grassroots mobilization, the mentorship of women in politics, and her consistent advocacy for unity and national development that transcends party lines.
“She is not only a mother to her biological children but also a guiding figure to many in the political space—always ready with words of encouragement, wisdom, and a listening ear,” he added.
