ADC Gubernatorial Candidate Adegoke Pays Courtesy Visit to Atiku, Declares Oyo ‘Atikulated’ Ahead of 2027 Elections

The Governorship Candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Oyo State, Olooye Adegboyega Toafeek Adegoke FCA, on Thursday paid a congratulatory visit to former Vice President of Nigeria, Abubakar Atiku, following his emergence as the Presidential Candidate of the ADC.

Adegoke, who is also the Aare Egbe Omo Balogun of Ibadanland, described the visit as an opportunity to personally congratulate the former Vice President on his victory at the party’s presidential primary and to reaffirm the commitment of the Oyo State chapter of the party to the ADC’s national agenda.

Adegoke disclosed that he also met with Adamu Atiku and other key stakeholders during the visit, stressing the importance of unity and collaboration within the party as preparations for the 2027 general elections gather momentum.

According to him, the former Vice President equally congratulated him on his emergence as the ADC Governorship Candidate in Oyo State and expressed confidence in the party’s prospects across the country.

“I visited Waziri Adamawa today to congratulate His Excellency Abubakar Atiku, former Vice President of Nigeria and ADC Presidential Candidate, on winning the presidential ticket of our great party, the ADC. During our discussion, he also congratulated me on winning the Oyo State ADC Governorship ticket,” Adegoke stated.

The ADC governorship flagbearer further revealed that he had commenced the process of updating and rebranding his campaign billboards across Oyo State to reflect the party’s presidential ticket.

“I informed him that I have started changing my billboards to include his pictures. We are now fully aligned with the national vision of the party. Oyo State is now Atikulated,” he declared.

Adegoke noted that the ADC remains committed to providing credible leadership and viable alternatives for Nigerians, expressing optimism that the party would record significant victories in Oyo State and across the country in the forthcoming elections.
