A LEADER AMONGST THE EQUALS IN THE POLITICAL RACE

In the words of Theodore Roosevelt ,the 26th President of the United State of America once said that ” the most successful politician is he who says what people are thinking of in the lowest voice.

That hides no feeling to express his opinion” This aptly defines different political personality jostling for leadership position in our political milieu as we look forward to a choice candidate for APC Guber ticket come 2027.

As the political permutation and combination for Oyo Guber prospect begins within the camp of progressive party , a number of high profile politicians are eagerly warming up and building bridges across the geopolitical zones to create purposeful awareness and canvass for more support to spread the gospel of their vision for the state and of course ,showing expertise and scorecard to drive home general consensus for the good of our party leadership structure.

It is crystal clear that the APC has got the needed space to unleash the power of synergy to do the magic in order to wrestle the political power from the ruling party in the state.We must not damn the strength of the ruling party to build a very strong foundation upon which APC general consensus and agreement will be based to convince the masses of a new world social order where hope of good governance will be renewed in our dear Oyo state.

There is no denying the fact that Oyo state is blessed with many progressive leaders of thought who can profess rectitude to put the progressive party on the right track so that the chance to occupy the state may not be missed upon the presentation of an imposed but mystery candidate against the glorious and popular demands of Oyo people.

If OYO N PE O is still a fresh movement in the anal of Oyo politics but we can leverage on this subjective case to draw an inference for the purpose of this current reality.Those who lack electoral values are busy disturbing the air to cause political tension in the state using a yellow flag while those who can not bell the cat for sacrifice are desperate to seek a way for political survival in the murky water of politics.These are self ambitious and desperate leader who can not bring fortune to the floor of the masses. We have got to be wise as we look forward to a new world social order in the affairs of progressive party politics.

What the state demands from us against the backdrop of perennial failure of our dream is to look inward for the best candidate amongst the equals who has what it takes to govern the State in terms of Technical Capacity, Mass Based Involvement, Political Network and Leverage, Dynamic Personality and as an Interfaith Leadership and for us to have a stable run into 2027 with political realization of our collective dream as far as progressive camp is concerned come 2027 , there is the need for our leaders to define and identify a new game changer with quality traits of a performer in the comity of aspirants.

Humbly in our minds is a man whose life epitomizes humanitarianism and whose name dotted the political landscape of Oyo state as the new hope for the masses.He is a man whose name carries the cross of politics with the human face.A humanist per excellence, Remi OseniYAN.
