Leadership and Character Development in Public School, A Joint Initiative by Honourable Kehinde Akande and Cadet Nigeria

The Chairman of Ibadan South West Local Government Honourable Kehinde Akande, in collaboration with Cadet Nigeria, has launched an innovative initiative to foster leadership and character development in public schools. This groundbreaking program, spearheaded by Honourable Kehinde Akande, aims to empower students with essential skills and values necessary for success in their academic, personal, and professional lives.

The initiative, which kicked off has already shown promising results, with students demonstrating increased confidence, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. The program’s curriculum encompasses various aspects of leadership and character development, including, Effective communication and public speaking, Goal-setting and achievement, Emotional intelligence and empathy, Conflict resolution and negotiation,Team building and collaboration, the Community service and social responsibility took place in IMG High School, Our Lady School, Fatima Odo-Ona and Ibadan Boys High School, Oke bola Ibadan.

Honourable Kehinde Akande, Chairman of Ibadan South West Local Government, emphasized the importance of investing in the next generation’s development, stating, “Our partnership with Cadet Nigeria demonstrates our commitment to providing quality education and shaping future leaders.
