In a bid to ensure a joyous Eid-il-Kabir celebration, the governor’s appointees and elected members in Ibadan North Local Government have generously donated ₦10 million to the PDP members in the area.
The donation was made yesterday , June 12, 2024 at the Ibadan North Local Government PDP meeting ground in Yemetu, Ibadan.
As part of the donation, five bags of rice were distributed to each ward from Ward 1 to Ward 12, and two additional bags were given to the Ibadan North Local Government PDP executive members who are Muslims, making a total of 62 bags of rice.
Additionally, ₦400,000 was distributed to each ward from Ward 1 to Ward 12 to purchase rams for the Muslim leaders for the festive period.
Six ward chairmen who are Muslims and six local executives who are Muslims were also given money to buy rams for the Eid celebration.
This brought the total donation to ₦10 million provided to the members.

The donors expressed their appreciation for the unwavering support from the members and extended this gesture to show their love and gratitude.
They also noted that it is very likely Governor Seyi Makinde, known for his connection with the masses, will extend additional Eid-Kabir gifts to the party members as usual before the day of Salah.
The members were joyous and appreciative of the gift, which will undoubtedly enhance their Eid-Kabir celebration.
