OYO: FORMER PDP CHAIRMEN ALIGNED FORCES, EULOGIZED GSM,WANT HIM INVITE DOTUN SANUSI, OTHERS INTO PDP .

A convergence of prominent PDP members , who have served as party chairmen from their various Local; Government Areas in Oyo State in the past have taken effect , with resolutions reached and made available to the press at the end of their meeting on Tuesday, 11th June, 2024 in Ibadan

While briefing the men of the press , the coordinator of the forum , named “PDP Renascent ,“Chief Waheed Ajao Adurodekun, a prominent PDP chieftain in Oyo State political firmament, who once served as former PDP Chairman in Ona Ara LG stated that the assemblage of the Forum is to add more value to democratic practices and enhance the legacies of Impressive performance of Governor Seyi Makinde in Oyo State.

At the end of their meeting yesterday , which had in attendance numbers of PDP chieftains from all the zones in Oyo State, who have served as PDP party chairmen at one point or the other in their political history, such as Alhaji lateef Durojaiye -Iseyin,.Alhaji Lamidi Fatokun -Saki East,Alhaji Ajinbade Rasaki -Oorelope Hon Sola Fakorede-Ibarapa Central Shittu Basiru -Saki west Famakin Olayiwola -Ogo Oluwa Alhaji Yakubu Oladoja -Oorelope Elder E. O Oluokun -Oyo East, Alhaji Isiaka Adebanji -Oyo West Kehinde Fabunmi -Lagelu, Asifat Adigun -Ogbomoso South and Baba Moreke-Egbeda.

The Former PDP Chairmen Forum at the venue of the meeting ,while reminiscing on the past activities at the party ,they also paid respect to the departed souls and observed *minute* *silence* for those who have passed on,emphasizing families .
some resolutions were reached as thus

1. The Former PDP chairmen laud the various achievements of Governor Seyi Makinde and rated him high in terms of excellent administration of Oyo State since he mounted the saddle , it was therefore resolved that unalloyed support should b continuously given to the governor , to accomplish more achievements , which have continued unabated since he won the second term in 2023.

2. The former PDP Chairmen enjoins other tiers to borrow leaf from Engineer Oluseyi Makinde, whose focus is to make impact in the lives of citizens as demonstrated through his various policies .

3.The Forum appeals for broad based support for Makinde always , now and in future endeavours

4. The Forum avail the opportunity to appeal to Governor Makinde to assist the party , PDP grow in leaps and consolidate on his template and become more strengthened via more encouragement of party men in all considerations

5.The group also urges Governor Makinde to use his attraction magnetize more patriots to join him in PDP and enhance further his dream of a better Oyo State as already demonstrated . In this light the group commended the fruitful efforts in bringing in many political figures into the party in recent times.

6. The group further desire more prominent figures , who have made enormous positive contributions to socio-economic space like Chief Dotun Sanusi (Ilaji) and others in this category be attracted to join the peoples Democratic Party (PDP) via the influence of the governor , who has the capability and potential to encourage them . This will invariably make the likes of Chief Dotun sanusi do more and collaborate with the governor in his party ,in the overall interest and progress of Oyo State
