Ibadan North LG: Oyo Lawmaker Comforter Congratulates Newly Inaugurated Councillors*

The Oyo State House Committee on Women Affairs and Community Development, Chief. Mrs. Olufunke Comforter Adeniyi-Olajide, JP, has congratulated the newly sworn-in councillors of Ibadan North Local Government and also used the occasion to celebrate the newly elected IBNLG Legislative House Leaders:

1. Hon. Adebola Taiwo, The Councillor representing Ward 4 which was elected Leader of the House
2. Hon. Sulaiman Ajao, Councillor representing Ward 12 emerged as Deputy Leader;
3. Hon. Abiola Sunday The Councillor representing Ward 11 is the new Majority Leader;
4. Hon. Ayoade Feranmi, the Councillor representing Ward 3 returned as the Chief Whip.

In a statement made available by her media team, Hon. Comforter, the Lawmaker representing Ibadan North Constituency 1 at the Oyo State House of Assembly, expressed her deep appreciation to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde for bearing his love for the grassroots people at heart, by conducting the Local Government Elections and putting in place the Local Government Chairmen and Councillors to cater for the needs and development of the people in their various local governments across Oyo State.

Olutunu De also extended her appreciation to the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade (ONALA) for involving women at his helms of his administration without discrimination.

Finally, she urged the house leader, principal officers, and all the councillors to cooperate with the Executive Chairman and work closely with love, peace, and unity to sustain the agenda of OMITUNTUN 2.0 of his Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde administration to reach the grassroots.

Hon. Comforter wished each of them a successful tenure in office.
