Following the council polls conducted in Oyo State, Hon. Saheed Arowosaye, the Chairman of OYO East local government, extends his heartfelt congratulations to the newly elected chairman, Hon. Oluokun Peter Olusola, his vice chairman, Wasiu Mustapha Waspha, and all ten councilors for their victory in the polls.

The council elections, held on Saturday, 27th of April, received accolades from key figures including Aare Isiaka Olagunju (SAN), Chairman of OYSIEC, and Adebola Hamzat, the State Commissioner of Police, who lauded the process as transparent, credible, and devoid of violence.
