The Director-General of Ibadan Southwest and Northwest Federal Constituency Campaign for the local government elections for Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Mogaji Akin Fagbemi has congratulated Oyo State Governor Engr. Seyi Makinde, Chairman-elect of Ibadan Southwest, Hon. Kehinde Adeyemi Akande and Ibadan Northwest local government, Hon. Rahmon Adepoju for the landslide victories and for their re-election bids as the executive chairmen.

It could be recalled that the local governments election were held across Oyo state on Saturday, 27th 9f April which the state Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde has described as a huge success.

In his statement, The Director-General campaign For the Southwest and Northwest, Mogaji Akin Fagbemi rejoices with Governor Makinde and the newly elected chairmen of the two local government wishing them successful tenure in office.

He equally commended Oyo state Governor Engr. Seyi Makinde for his political prowess and for given the state electoral commission all it needed to conduct free and fair election.

Fagbemi also applauded the Deputy National Chairman South of the party, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja for his leadership qualities and political sagacity deployed in ensuring it was a landslide victory for the party at the poll on Saturday.

He equally appreciates the security as well as all the parties that participated in the election for ensuring a peaceful election devoid of violence.

However, Fagbemi, envision a future filled with promise and prosperity for Ibadan South West/North West, guided by the principles of accountability, transparency and service delivery to the people.
