Oyo East Council Chairman Arowosaye, Bags Heritage Echo Leadership Icon Award

….As Heritage Echo honors traditional rulers and eight other personalities with a merit award.

Executive Chairman of Oyo East local government area Kosobo, Oyo, Hon. Prince Alhaji Arowosaye Saheed Adeyemi, On Saturday, has been conferred with the prestigious public service award of Leadership Icon, for his outstanding contribution to progressive grassroots administration, as well as his Selflessness leadership at the third tiers of government.

The prestigious award was conferred to him by Chief Opeyemi Salaudeen, the Publisher of Heritage Echo Newspaper at the annual merit award tagged “Exemplary Leadership Award 2023” held at Oyo Premier Club, Oyo township.

Other awardees members were; The Executive Chairman of Irepo LG, Pastor Joel Oyedokun Oyetunji, Adeniyi Ezekiel Adekunle, IGP Monitoring team, Oyo State, Chief Oyeleke Yusuf, Baale Idode, Oyo, HRM Oba Thompson Adeyeye Oyetunji, Alajawa of Ajaawa, Ma’ad Nurul Islam Arabic School, Bode, Okeho, Hon. Kayode Olajide Okedokin, Secretary Sooro LCDAs, Hon. Fatokun Emmanuel Ajetola (Kojinasina) Vice Chairman, Saki-East LG, The Ardor Ardodin of Oyo State, Alhaji Yakubu Bello, the Sarkin Fulani of Oyo State and others.

According to the organizer of the leading Community Newspaper in the southwest geo-political zone of the country, Chief Opeyemi Salaudeen noted that the council chairman who double as the awardee has been at the forefront of promoting good governance and Leadership in the society.

“Your selection for this special award is based on your position as a committed, dedicated, and selfless leader within your immediate community. This honor is also meant to appreciate your Socio-economic and political developments as well as prompt patronage of Heritage Echo Newspaper over the years” he said.

While receiving the prestigious award, Oyo East Council Boss, Prince Arowosaye commended the Newspaper company for their show of patriotism in his quality assurance service delivery at the local level while promising that he’ll continue to raise the bar of good governance at the grassroots.

Speaking further; “I am deeply honored to receive the “Distinguished Award of Leadership Icon ” from Heritage Echo Newspaper at their annual exemplary leadership award, I’m elated for the recognition for my democratic and people’s oriented policies in Oyo East ”.

Arowosaye lauded the newspaper tabloid for their doggedness and sacrifice that has kept the company going despite the Socio-economic challenges of the nation that have diversely affected the generality of Nigerians and their businesses.

“This exemplary leadership Icon Award will further dive me deeper to explore more initiatives, and creative ideas to transform the mother of them all council and build a better legacy that will be hard to break by my successor” Arosad affirmed.
