LG Poll: Oyo lawmaker Olorunpoto, Prof Babatunde, Akeem Aji, Atilola Others In Attendance As Oyo West Ward 07 Stands Firm For Olukitibi/Alade Re-election Bid Campaign
In continuation of the Ward-to-Ward campaign for a brighter, more prosperous future for Oyo West local government, the residents of Iyaji Ward 07 troop out en-mass to welcome the campaign train of the PDP Chairmanship and Councilorship candidate, promised to deliver bloc votes to ensure their victory at the poll.
The top-notch event had in attendance the lawmaker representing Oyo East/West State Constituency, Hon Olorunpoto Cephas Rahaman, Honorable Commissioner for Budget and Planning, Prof. Musbau Babatunde, member Oyo State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), Hon. Olalekan Akeem Jimoh, Rt Hon. Olawale Atilola, Alhaji Isiaka Adebayo, Hon. Fatai Okunlola Obabi, Alhaji Kabiru Adeyanju, Baba R.A Atanda, and other stakeholders, leader and party faithful.
In his welcome address, the Director-general of Prince Olukitibi/Alade’s re-election bid, Hon. Wale Ogunsola expressed confidence in maximum votes for all PDP candidates. He lauded the vibrant mammoth crowd of Iyaji residents, stressing that Prince Olukitibi’s fruitful engagement on grassroots infrastructural development, community service, and providing a conducive environment for businesses to thrive garnered the interest of the electorate towards giving assurance of massive votes for a re-election bid.
Ogunsola further reaffirmed the candidate’s ideology to transform the liberation continuity to sustainable development on an effective replica of the people’s Governor policies, Engr Seyi Makinde, if given the mandate on the 27th of this month.
He urged the party faithful not to relent on their efforts to campaign across the length and breadth of the model council.
Also, the PDP Party Chairman in Oyo West, Hon. Sarafadeen Oyedele Oloyo commended the pragmatic move of the electorates towards recognizing the impact of the executive Chairman who is seeking a re-election bid in a way to create democratic dividends, improve the local economy, and implement policies that suite the need of the masses.
“Your support fuels our campaign, together we’ll address your needs, and aspirations and share a better future, come 27th, tell a friend to tell a friend, about the importance of voting PDP” Oloyo acknowledged.
In his goodwill message, the lawmaker representing Oyo East/West State Constituency, Hon Olorunpoto Cephas Rahaman hailed the party stakeholders, leaders, and faithful members on their efforts to ensure the party’s triumph at the council elections.
Hon. Olorunpoto appealed to the women’s and youth wing to intensify more efforts on the house-to-house campaign, given assurance that the council elections are already sealed for PDP.
He equally used the medium to highlight his achievement at the hallow Chamber of the State Assembly, he lauded the support of his colleagues, Hon. Gbenga Joseph Oyekola and Hon. Prince Deji Oparinde for harmonious working relationship in productive legislation prowess.
Presenting the party flag to the Councilorship candidate, Hon. Salami Philip, the honorable Commissioner for Budget and Planning, Prof. Musbau Babatunde assured Iyaji residents of classic and effective administration from Hon. Prince Akeem Salam Babatunde Olukitibi and Alhaji Nureni Alade Adesola, claiming that their second term would provide an opportunity to build on the foundation laid and further advance the development agenda.
He assured them of continued progress, improved living conditions, and a brighter future under Olukitibi/Alade.
Equally, Comrade Abubakar Mustapha, representing the Nigerian Union of Teachers, Oyo West Zone highlighted the achievement of the People’s Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde on the residents and most especially the state workers.
He lauded the worker’s friendly attitude of the Governor in making their welfare the top priority. He emphatically commended the Chairmanship candidate, Hon Prince Akeem Salam Babatunde Olukitibi for giving them sense of belonging at the grassroots level, and stressed the impact on zonal teachers’ welfare.
Comrade Abubakar further appealed to the chairman for necessary support for the completion of the ongoing teacher’s building.
