LG POLL: Mammoth Crowd As Oluwaseun Olufade Officially Receives PDP Flag As Chairmanship Candidate For Ibadan North Local Government
Yesterday marked an unforgettable milestone in the Ibadan North federal constituency as an overwhelming crowd converged to witness the grand ceremony of officially presenting the PDP flag to Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, the esteemed candidate for the chairmanship position in Ibadan North Local Government.
The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as supporters gathered en masse, eager to witness this historic moment alongside Hon. Olufade and his running mate, Akeem Ayoade.
Having concluded an exhaustive and spirited ward-to-ward campaign just a day prior, Hon. Olufade was bestowed with the official PDP flag during a vibrant event held at Sango garage, Ward 8 of Ibadan North.
Dr. Nureni Adeniran, the esteemed Local Government campaign coordinator for Ibadan, presented the flag, amidst the esteemed presence of Hon. Wasiu Adeleke, the Campaign Director-General of Oyo State’s local government election.
Amidst thunderous applause and jubilation, Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle Don, the Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Seyi Makinde, took to the podium to commend Governor Makinde’s visionary leadership, urging the electorate to unite in solidarity behind the PDP come April 27th.
Hon. Wasiu Adeleke, doubling as the Director-General of the LG campaign in Oyo State and the General Secretary of PDP, described Ibadan North federal Constituency as the Constituency with many potential.
He lauded the director general of Olufade campaign, prince Falana Adebowale for the great job him and his committee has done so far, he also appreciated all the leaders in ibadan north Local Government for their continuous contribution to the party development, most especially their Backlog of votes at the general election.
He also described the PDP Chairmanship candidate in Ibadan north, hon. Oluwaseun Olufade as a credible candidate and a core party loyalist who he believes will take the local government to a greater height.
In a passionate address, campaign cordinator for Ibadan North federal constituency, hon. Olaniyan Akoro, assured the electorate of a quality representation if they vote all PDP candidates in the April 27 LG Election.
He described PDP as a party who doesn’t deceive the electorate to get to power but perform beyond expectations when they get the power.
In his own speech, Oyo state house of assembly member, representing Ibadan North Constituency 2, hon Adebayo Babajide Gabriel popularly called the jagaban of Oyo state 9th and 10th Assembly described the turnout by the party members, leaders, executives and the residents as amazing and a sign of victory for the party in the local government election slated for 27 april 2024.
He urged the electorate to come out enmasse to vote for hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, his vice, Akeem Ayoade and all the 12 councillorship candidates.
Prince Seun Adelore, the esteemed PDP chairman in Ibadan north local government, applauded the good people of Ibadan north for their consistent support for the party.
He described them as a phenomenal people whose love for party Progress is indescribable.
He boasted that PDP in Ibadan North Local government always cast the highest percentage of vote in general election and this time around he is confident that they will vote massively for the Chairmanship candidate, oluwaseun Olufade his vice and all the 12 councillorship candidates come april 27, 2024.
