Photos: Oyo Lawmaker, Mabaje Distributes Easter/Ramadan Packages to Constituency
In the Spirit of the season, the Lawmaker representing Ido Lg Constituency at the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon Razaq Mabaje has begun distributing palliatives on Thursday to Christians and Muslims in order to celebrate this Year’s Easter and Ramadan period.
The gesture was targeted to reach various beneficiaries daily across Ido Lg Constituency and beyond, utilizing house-to-house distributions to the elderly, as well as to the poorest households, and also to the Religious Leaders, Leaders & Members of the Peoples Democratic Party within and without the constituency he represents.
Hon. Mabaje, who is the Chairman, House Committee on commerce And trade investment , has also attended and participated in the religious exercises and lectures, including Muslim and Christian ones which of course foster harmony and mutual support amongst the Christians and Muslims within his Constituency.
Speaking to pressmen, the Lawmaker emphasized the unity between Muslims and Christians during this period and the necessity for joint prayers and support for the country’s needy.
Beneficiaries from the kind gesture expressed gratitude for Hon. Mabaje philanthropic efforts over the years, acknowledging his impact on their lives, livelihood and community.
