The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) has assured Nigerians that its manifesto will capture the aspirations and concerns of citizens across the six geopolitical zones, as the party intensifies consultations ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The party and its presidential candidate, Governor Seyi Makinde, gave the assurance on Monday during its North Central Town Hall Meeting held in Nasarawa State.
In a statement, the party leadership thanked the people of Nasarawa for hosting the town hall meeting and for their active participation.
“Thank you, our good people in Nasarawa, for hosting the APM North Central Town Hall Meeting today. We have taken note of all issues highlighted during the meeting and we will ensure that our manifesto reflects the feedback we receive from each zone,” the party stated.
The APM noted that the town hall meetings are part of its deliberate strategy to engage directly with Nigerians and build a people-driven manifesto that addresses real challenges facing the country.
The party also expressed appreciation to the Emir of Lafia, His Royal Highness, Hon. Justice Sidi Bage Muhammad I (Rtd), CFR, for his warm reception and fatherly counsel.
“APM Presidential Candidate Governor Seyi Makinde thanks His Royal Highness, Hon. Justice Sidi Bage Muhammad I (Rtd), CFR, Emir of Lafia for his warm welcome and hospitality and for listening to us as we set out our plans for the North Central and Nigeria. We will reset Nigeria so that it works for all Nigerians,” the statement added.
The APM reiterated its commitment to resetting Nigeria and building a nation that works for all citizens irrespective of tribe, religion, or political affiliation.
