Amb. Kazeem Bolarinwa Rallies Oyo Man O’ War For Peaceful Elections

The Youth Mobilization Director for Omituntun 3.0, Ambassador Kazeem Bolarinwa, on Satuday held a strategic engagement with the leadership of the Man O’ War, Oyo State Command, in a move seen as part of early political mobilization ahead of the forthcoming elections.

The meeting, held at the Oyo State Command headquarters, brought together top officers of the organization and key stakeholders of the Omituntun 3.0 movement.

In his address, Amb. Bolarinwa commended the discipline, patriotism and commitment of Man O’ War personnel to national service and community safety. He said voluntary organizations will play a critical role in ensuring peaceful, orderly and credible elections, and in driving grassroots support for the consolidation agenda of Governor Seyi Makinde.

“We are building Omituntun 3.0 on the foundation of security, unity and active youth participation. Your organization represents order and service, and that is exactly what we need as we mobilize for the next phase,” he stated.

Speaking on behalf of the Command, the Oyo State Commandant, Alhaji Yekeen Lukman Olanrewaju, appreciated the visit and assured the Omituntun 3.0 team of the organization’s readiness to support activities that promote peace and good governance.

Also present were the Public Relations Officer of the Command, Assistant Man O’ War Commander Adebiyi Ademiluyi Ijoba, and the Facilitator of the meeting, SouthWest Regional Commander, ANC Ayoade Adeoye.

The officers assured the Youth Mobilization Director of their utmost support in the forthcoming elections, noting that Man O’ War will continue to work with relevant stakeholders to ensure a hitch-free electoral process.

“We assure you of our utmost support in your forthcoming elections. We will mobilize our men to maintain order and support initiatives that are in the interest of Oyo State,” Commandant Olanrewaju said.

Political observers say the engagement signals the Omituntun 3.0 camp’s strategy of consolidating support among youth and service organizations ahead of 2027. With Man O’ War’s presence in schools, communities and public events across the 33 local government areas, their backing is seen as a boost to grassroots mobilization efforts.

Amb. Bolarinwa urged the officers to continue mentoring young people and to serve as ambassadors of peace in their communities, adding that the Omituntun 3.0 agenda remains focused on youth inclusion, security, and continuity of development in Oyo State.

The meeting ended with both parties agreeing to deepen collaboration on voter education, community sensitization, and election support.
