APM Deputy Governorship Candidate, Open Salawu, Engages Key Stakeholders, Residents in Ogbomoso

The Oyo State Deputy Governorship Candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), Engr. Muftau Open Salawu, has engaged key stakeholders, community groups and residents in Ogbomoso as part of efforts to deepen consultation and strengthen the party’s grassroots engagement ahead of the 2027 elections.

The extensive engagement, which lasted from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., featured a series of meetings and interactions with different segments of the Ogbomoso community.

Salawu and his team commenced the day with a meeting with members of the Visually Impaired Association before proceeding to engage faith leaders, the Students’ Association, the Youth Council and artisans.

The APM deputy governorship candidate also paid courtesy visits to the Aare Alasa and the Alapa Compound, further expanding the stakeholder consultations and providing opportunities for meaningful interactions with traditional and community interests.

During a brief walk through Saja, Salawu and his team received a warm welcome from residents, which he described as a demonstration of the people’s enthusiasm and growing passion for the political movement.

Salawu reaffirmed his commitment to the Allied Peoples Movement, stating that APM remains the party of choice ahead of the 2027 elections.

He further reiterated his support for the party’s gubernatorial candidate, Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi, expressing confidence in the party’s grassroots structure and its commitment to taking its message of development, inclusion and responsive leadership to the people of Oyo State.

The engagements, according to Salawu, underscore the importance of listening to the people, building stronger relationships with communities and ensuring that all segments of society are carried along in the political process.
