Hon. Rasaq Mabaje, a member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, has emerged as the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) chairmanship candidate for Ido Local Government ahead of the 2026 local government elections.
Mabaje secured victory in the party’s primary election after polling 13 votes, defeating Hon. Fashina, who garnered 8 votes.
His emergence marks a significant milestone for the APM in Ido Local Government as the party prepares for the forthcoming council elections. Party members and supporters have congratulated Mabaje on his victory and expressed optimism about the party’s chances in the election.
