Hon. Akinloye Abdulrazaq Abiola, the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) House of Assembly candidate for Ibadan North-East Constituency II, has commended Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, and security agencies for the successful rescue of pupils and teachers abducted in Orire Local Government Area of the state.
In a statement, Akinloye described the rescue operation as a significant victory against criminality, praising the coordinated efforts of the Nigeria Armed Forces, the Department of State Services (DSS), the Nigeria Police Force, and other security agencies involved in the operation.
He said the successful rescue demonstrates the importance of collaboration among security institutions in safeguarding lives and restoring public confidence in the nation’s security architecture.
The APM chieftain also applauded Governor Makinde for his unwavering commitment to the security of lives and property in Oyo State, noting that the governor’s continuous support for security agencies has contributed to the success recorded in the operation.

While celebrating the safe return of the abducted victims, Akinloye expressed deep sorrow over the death of one of the teachers during the unfortunate incident. He extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, praying that God grants them the strength to bear the irreparable loss.
He further urged security agencies to sustain the ongoing fight against kidnapping and other violent crimes, stressing the need to ensure that perpetrators are brought to justice and that residents can live without fear.
Akinloye reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives that promote peace, security, and the overall well-being of the people of Oyo State. He also called on citizens to remain vigilant and continue providing useful information to security agencies to enhance efforts at tackling insecurity.
