The Okanlomo Oodua and Bada Olubadan of Ibadanland, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, has announced a donation of ₦10 million to support traders affected by the devastating fire outbreak at Bode Agbo Market in Ibadan.

The donation was announced on Saturday following reports of the tragic incident that destroyed goods and means of livelihood belonging to many traders.

According to information made available to newsmen, the announcement was conveyed through Iyaloja Saratu Aduke, who visited the scene of the inferno on behalf of Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi.

Speaking during the visit, Iyaloja Saratu Aduke disclosed that the Okanlomo Oodua had wished to personally sympathize with the victims. However, due to his absence from Nigeria, he delegated the visit and extended his heartfelt condolences to all those affected by the unfortunate incident.

Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi described the fire disaster as a painful loss to the victims, many of whom depend on the market for their daily livelihood. He prayed for strength and comfort for the affected traders while expressing hope that they would recover from the tragedy.
