Ibadan South West LGA Chairmanship Aspirant Hails Appointments as “Merit-Based and Strategic

The Ibadan South West Local Government Chairmanship Aspirant, Alhaji Hassan Bello, has congratulated three newly appointed Oyo State government officials.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, Hassano listed the appointees as, Hon. Isola Abiodun Adekunle, Executive Adviser, Intra-Party Affairs, Arc. Ifeoluwa Akande, Chairman, Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport Upgrade Committee, Hon. Oladejo Emmanuel Oladokun ,Part-Time Member, Local Government Service Commission

Hassano described the appointments as “timely, merit-based, and strategic to the growth of Oyo State.”

He said Hon. Adekunle’s experience would help to foster unity within the party. He added that Arc. Akande’s technical background makes him fit to oversee the SLA Airport upgrade. He noted that Hon. Oladokun would bring transparency to the Local Government Service Commission. “The governor has made the right choices. These appointees have capacity, loyalty, and a track record of service,” Hassano said.

Political observers say the appointments are key to strengthening intra-party relations, improving state infrastructure, and reforming local government administration ahead of the next election cycle.

Hassano urged the appointees to work in line with the administration’s agenda of inclusive development.

Hassano prayed for their success. He reaffirmed his commitment to grassroots mobilisation in Ibadan South West LGA as he continues his chairmanship campaign.
