Adewale Oluwatoyin Omolara has officially declared her intention to contest for the position of Councillor representing Ward 6 in Ibadan South West Local Government in the 2026 local government election.

Omolara, the daughter of the Supervisor Councillor for Ward 6, Hon. Abdulsalam Adewale, popularly known as Sir Small, made her declaration during the Ward 6 party meeting held today.

As part of her declaration and demonstration of support for party members, she donated ₦50,000 cash, four benches, and one bag of salt to members of the party.

Speaking at the meeting, Omolara reaffirmed her commitment to grassroots development, effective representation, and inclusive leadership. She pledged to work closely with party leaders, youths, women, and other stakeholders to advance the growth and progress of Ward 6.

Party members present at the meeting commended her generosity and expressed optimism that her aspiration would further strengthen the party ahead of the 2026 local government elections.
