An aspirant for the local chairmanship, of Ibadan NorthWest Local Government, under the auspices of the Allied People’s movement(APM). Hon. Kamal Ganiyu, also known as ‘GreatKamal’ has stepped up his consultation towards 2026 OYO STATE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ELECTION BY having a meeting with APM, local chapter leaders of the local government.
The gathering was held with attendance of the APM chairman Ibadan NorthWest, LG, Kazeem Fantola , Vice Chairman and executives members as well as the ward 1-11’s chairmen .
Speaking to them, the party’s leading lights from ward 2, Hon. Kamal Ganiyu formally presents the interest to vie for the position and appeal for their support, prayers, and valuable advice. Great Kamal, however, promised an all-inclusive government if emerged the party candidate for the LG polls, stressed that youth transformation and empowerment would form the fulcrum of his administration, stressing that active youth participation is one of the cornerstones in developmental programmes. Skills acquisition, entrepreneurship, and youth-centric development programs he stressed, among others would help curb the spate of unemployment in the local government areas while instilling value among young people.
Meanwhile, the aspirant however assured all APM leaders for the collective support in the quest for APM’s continued growth and advancement before elections.
They commended him and wished him well and assured of their prayers for him in achieving the mandate.
